The Bundestag (German Parliament) has deprived of the immunity of "Alternative for Germany" (AFD) party, Stefan Brandorfi and Matthias Moses. This was announced on the website of the parliament.
The deputies of the Christian-Democratic Union (the Christian-Satietary Union, the Social-Democratic Party, the Greens and Left Party voted in favor of this decision. "Alternative for Germany" (AFD) faction abstained from voting. This opens the possibility of compulsion or criminal prosecution against two AFD members.
According to Der Spiegel, the Brand's case is connected with the alleged insult to Der Spiegel journalist, and the Mosdorf's case is associated with the Nazi greetings of him.
