Google will allow blocked bloggers back to YouTube

YouTube has introduced the "Second Possibility" program, which will allow those creators who have lost their channels from entering the recovery year after the suspension. This was announced on the platform blog.

The program is not appealed and designed for users who have exhausted standard appeals. Applications will be discussed separately for each case, taking into account the nature of the violations of the past and the current community guidelines.

Participation in the program does not apply to the creators whose waves have been removed for copyright infringement. In case of approval, the content creator will be able to launch a new channel, republish previous videos, according to existing guidelines, and re-connect "Monomic".

YouTube noted that the notifications on the availability of the program will appear in the coming months on YouTube Studio. It is not clear whether the banned Russian bloggers will be approved.

The launch of the initiative is followed by Google's official letter to congressional Jim Jordan, which announced its intention to reconsider its approach to the Covid-19 and the elections.
