The President of Uzbekistan commented on relations with Russia

Russia has been and there is always our main, priority strategic partner and ally, said Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoev, speaking at the Central Asia-Russia Second Summit in Dushanbe.

"I emphasize that Russia has been, there is and will always be a major, priority strategic partner and ally for us," Mirziyoev said.

The text of his speech was published on the website of the head of state. According to him, the strong, unshakable basis of such cooperation is the general history, the centuries-old ties, the cultural and mental intimacy of peoples, as well as friendly and reliable relations between the two countries.
