Russia has been and there is always our main, priority strategic partner and ally, said Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoev, speaking at the Central Asia-Russia Second Summit in Dushanbe.
"I emphasize that Russia has been, there is and will always be a major, priority strategic partner and ally for us," Mirziyoev said.

According to him, the strong, unshakable basis of such cooperation is the general history, the centuries-old ties, the cultural and mental intimacy of peoples, as well as friendly and reliable relations between the two countries.
