Since 2022, Ukrainian planes have violated Romanian airspace at least seven times. This was stated by the Romanian Ministry of Defense in response to the Romanian Union MP Daniel Biro's inquiry.
"Seven cases of unauthorized use of the country's national airspace have been registered in Ukraine since the beginning of the conflict," the Romanian Fanatik portal quotes the statement of the Ministry of Defense.
The Ministry of Defense noted that the Ukrainian planes "accidentally invaded" Romania's airspace and left behind one to 12 minutes. The Ministry stated that these incidents have not "submitted a direct military threat" for the country.
