Rock fall on the Ltsen-Tatev highway


On October 25, at 09:39, the National Center for Crisis Management was alerted that a rockfall occurred on the Ltsen-Tatev highway. the highway is closed to passenger cars.

One combat unit from the fire-rescue squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs went to the scene of the incident.

It was found that a rockfall (about 6 cubic meters) occurred on the 232 km of the Yerevan-Meghri interstate highway (Ltsen-Tatev section). the highway is closed both ways. The rescuers carried out stone removal works. two-way traffic has been restored.
