For the second number of UFC's lightweight classification, Arman Tsarukyan expressed an opinion on the future of the former lightweight champion Islam Makhhavev.
"As far as I know, Islam does not plan to return to 70 kg weight categories. He will continue to play in the 77 kg weight category. I think Islam will have at least two fights. He has already proved everything, defending the title four times in a lightweight weight category. If he wins the title fight in the 77 kg weight category, then one or twice, I think it will be the end of his career, "said Tsarukyan in an interview with Aslanbek Badaev.
It should be reminded that the title fight between Makhakev and Jack Dela Maddalen will take place in the UFC 322 tournament, which will take place on November 16 in New York (USA).
