Spokesman for the Central Electoral Commission of Georgia Natia Ioselian stated during a briefing that Georgia's precinct election commissions did not receive any complaints about possible violations during the municipal elections.
"At the moment, precinct election commissions did not receive any complaints," Ioselian said.
He also noted that the citizens receive telephone calls that are as if they are from the Central Electoral Commission, clarifying whether voters actually took part in the voting. Ioselian said that the commission had nothing to do with those calls and called on those responsible to interfere in the electoral process.
In addition, according to the press spokesman of the Central Electoral Commission, the participation of voters as of 12:00 (at 11:00 Moscow) made 17.15%.
