The Georgian Interior Ministry called on the organizers of the intended rally not to violate the law

The Georgian Interior Ministry has announced the mobilization of police in Tbilisi, related to the intended rally of the opposition and called on the organizers of the event to preserve the law.

"In order to ensure public security and maintain the order, the employees of the relevant police departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were mobilized in different parts of the capital.

"We call on the organizers and participants of the protest to hold the rally within the framework of the Georgian legislation, subject to the legal requirements of the police, and not interfere in the implementation of official duties," the statement said.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, any violations will lead to a corresponding response from the police.
