The "Fact" daily writes:
Recently, Nikol Pashinyan chose a new target for its directed attacks, Mayor of Gyumri Vardan Ghukasyan, who became victims of public criticism, no less tougher than clergymen. Pashinyan stated that "such characters" should be pushed out of the political and public field, "with democratic methods" (clear threats to the opposition figure, according to Pashinyan, can be combined with democracy). Moreover, Ghukasyan described as a "misunderstanding" (although he has already been elected to distribute electoral bribes without any evidence) and continued to have such violations that Ghukasyan disrupts Armenia's sovereignty. What was the reason that the person holding the post of Prime Minister responded so sharply?
Let's try to understand. Pashinyan's emotional outbursts followed Ghukasyan's announcement about the expediency of creating a union state with Russia. That idea is not new, it has been repeatedly. But this time the mayor added that Armenia will maintain its independence in such a union to protect themselves from Turkey.
For years, Pashinyan has built a policy of Armenia, so such a statement has become a sharp and emotional response for him. The impression is that Pashinyan or does not understand the meaning of that term or he does not care about the traditional meaning.
According to the dictionary, "sovereignty" means the full independence of the state in the implementation of internal and foreign policy. But by Pashinyan's comment, "the defense of sovereignty" means unilateral concessions to Turkey, and he accused those who contradicted the policy of "violating sovereignty." It seems that Pashinyan seeks to monopolize the word "sovereignty" not only "peace", attributing only a convenient meaning. In his speech, "sovereignty" means to be subjected to the Turkish conditions, to disarm him, according to Ankara's demand, to rewrite the Constitution on the actual occupation of the international recognition of Armenia and to be ready to receive 300,000 Azerbaijanis in Armenia, permanent residence. And he calls all this "security of sovereignty."
Any alternative approach is perceived as a threat. For everyone in Armenia, it is obvious that it corresponds to reality, but such a direct speech was angry with the government. Ghukasyan emphasized that he was not going to join the traditional opposition forces. And the "third force" is his main fear in Armenia.
That's why he responds sharply to every independent opposition. However, Vardan Ghukasyan seems to have decided to fight. According to him, the voters were offered cash prizes, reaching up to 60,000 drams, and members of the party from different regions were taken to Gyumri. In one house, according to the mayor, 57 people were registered. These accusations are serious and may be hit by Pashinyan, without that, without that crown pregadia, which boasts that the elections are not rigged in Armenia.
If this information can be approved, for example, the mass registration of the Pashinianists in Gyumri, the consequences may be significant. However, we think the government has already taken steps to clean the tracks. Secondly, Ghukasyan stated that he would file a lawsuit against the Armenian government in the coming days. According to him, 58 billion drams are being removed from the Gyumri budget, and only 4 billion is returned, while 27 billion was to be returned. Of course, Pashinyan needs funds for foreign trips and events, which are accompanied by beautiful photos. But such attitude towards the taxes of their taxes is annoying the residents of Gyumri.
In addition, the general plan of the development of Gyumri has been approved, but the government hinders its implementation. Ghukasyan intends to solve these issues in court. It is naive or not, we will see. General, it should be noted that Pashinyan's speech on opponents becomes unbearable. The impression is that he forgets that he is an official person. The methods he offers are also as controversial. When the Prime Minister states that he is going to "throw out" the mayor elected by the people, not for official violations, other theoretical thoughts that contradict his views that the Prime Minister is wrongly understanding the meaning of the word "democracy."
Just as wrong, such as "sovereignty" and "peace".
