US President Donald Trump has said that the country is in the armed conflict with drug dealers. This was reported by The New York Times (NYT), which got acquainted with the notice of the US Leader Congress.
According to the newspaper, the new status of a campaign against drug cartels is designed to ensure legal excuses for the ships previously made on ships in the Caribbean.
Trump said the actions of the cartel representatives would be considered an armed attack on the United States, and smugglers, illegal fighters.
The US Navy has already destroyed at least two motorboats in the International Water of the Caribbean, with a total of 14 crew members, who were supposed to transport drugs from Venezuela.
