Iranian President Massoud Pezeshki said that the transfer of the capital is simply not an idea, but a necessity.
He stated this during a meeting with entrepreneurs and economic activists in Hormozgan, commenting on one of his conversations with the Supreme Leader of the country, Donya E reported.
"During that meeting, I made an offer to move the capital to the Persian bosom. When this information appeared in the media, many were suspicious. But now it becomes clear in front of real difficulties. This is not a matter of choice but a necessity, "Pesceshkyan emphasized.
The President assured that the state will make every effort, both in terms of powers and support in order to make land for efforts and activities in the states.
