On Thursday morning, the Israeli army snatched the Muhammad Bhar, who was navigating the Netherlands, which was part of the "Sumud" humanitarian fleet and went to the coast of Gaza. This was reported by the NU.NL news website, citing the action coordinators.
According to their information, there were 16 Dutch citizens on the ship, six of whom were arrested. Coordinators also clarified that some of the detainees managed to throw their cell phones into the sea, not to fall into the hands of Israeli forces.
Earlier, the Information Committee of the International Mission announced that the Israeli forces were taken from the "Sumud" navy and arrested 70 activists.
"Sumud" navy (translated from Arabic means "unsteady"), in mid-September, left for Gaza from Tunisia. It consisted of more than 40 ships belonging to different countries, one of which was located on one of which Swedish human rights activist Greta Tnober.
