The British government has recovered sanctions on more than 120 Iranians and organizations, which have been restricted by the UN Security Council for the Financial Sanctions Office (FSIO).
"On October 1, 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs updated the list of sanctions posted on the British Government's website," the statement said. "121 people have been added to the list of the UN agitation mechanism for Iran."
78 of them were on the British list until today's date, which has changed to reflect that they are subject to additional UN sanctions.
The list of sanctions in the United Kingdom again includes 23 individuals and 20 organizations, including Iranian Atomic Energy Organization.
