Estonian defense forces hold two-day military exercises in the Nursipalu military school in the southeastern Baltic Republic, Postimees reports.
During the exercise, Estonian troops will conduct fire shooting exercises using Himars multiple fire systems (MLRs), CAESAR self-propelled artillery (SAU) and 120 mm mines.
The Speaker of the Estonian Defense Forces noted that this is the first case when Himars and CAESAR SAU systems are used in the school.
In July, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zakharova stated that Moscow's development of the military potential, including the introduction of Himars missile systems in the country's arsenal, is considered part of the Baltic region.
