Hamas radical Palestinian movement may agree to the USA, in the Gaza Strip, under the pressure of the conflict and Turkey, writes The New York Times (NYT) in its editorial.
"Hamas Group and its leadership are so exhausted from the exhausted war and face the sponsors of Muslim countries, including Qatar and Turkey, that it can fully agree to the deal," the publication writes. The newspaper notes that Hamas, accepting or rejecting the US proposal, will never have the previous impact on the enclave, as it will manage.
NYT also believes that the management of the movement from the transaction may provoke the dissatisfaction of the Palestinians, which suffer the most from the confrontation with Israel. "Some Gaza residents accuse Hamas that it is a war for their own political survival," explains the newspaper.
Earlier, the Axios portal announced that Egypt, Qatar and Turkey persuaded the Radical Palestinian movement of Hamas to adopt the US program of settlement in the Gaza Strip.
