New details on bribery to provide a driver's license


The preliminary investigation of the RA Anti-Corruption Committee initiated by a number of persons was revealed by a number of people to receive a variety of money to provide a license for bribery, as well as attempts to give bribes.

In particular, it turned out that the resident of Armavir region, learning about the intention to obtain a citizen's driver's license, assured that the delivery of a practical examination and issuance of the certificate for the money. The above-mentioned resident received the money of the bribe, as well as the documents certifying the results of an identity and the impression of the agreement, but did not organize the process of investigation and certificate postponing it for various reasons.

The preliminary investigation has also revealed cases of receiving money from the citizens under the pretext of bribery. These individuals assured the citizens that the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs in Gyumri and Armavir's research departments will organize the process of providing driving licenses for the money, but after taking the money from citizens, it did not pass any official and did not organize the mentioned process.

In order to receive a bribery mediation, three people were charged with Part 2 of Article 440 of the RA Criminal Code. Three more citizens have been accused of trying to give bribes under Article 44-466, Clause 3 of the RA Criminal Code, and one person to support it.

The preliminary investigation into criminal proceedings is over. The materials of the proceedings were sent to the RA Anti-Corruption Court with indictments.
