Iran will not deviate from the path of developing a peaceful atom. This was announced by the President of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization (IAEA) during the "World Atomic Week" international conference in Moscow.
According to him, the Iran's nuclear program is a great national achievement, but Tehran has been in this area to the US and the United States (Great Britain, France, German-Ed.).
"It simply came to our notice then. They understand well and privately acknowledge that Iran's nuclear program does not contain any threats, but the pressure is growing every day, "said the head of the IAEA.
According to Eslam, Western countries seek to destroy Iran's nuclear program, although it meets the standards.
He drew attention to the fact that Iran once invested $ 1 billion for the construction of nuclear blocks in the country, transferring the money to the French company. The specialists of France and Germany even started construction, but then refused projects.
"After that, no company that wanted to cooperate with us did not allow us to do so," said Eslam.
However, according to him, the United States and European countries cannot force Tehran to be handed over. The head of the IAEA claims that the country's nuclear program is transparent, although the IAEA creates problems there under pressure from the West.
He also drew attention to the fact that Iran produces only 3% of the world's entire nuclear energy, but 25% of the IAEA inspections go to the IRI.
"It's enough. The path of the Iranian and Iranian program is completely transparent, and we will not deviate from it, "said Eslam.
He added that the projects suspended in Iran have resumed Rosatom, which allowed Russian and German technologies to integrate. According to Eslam, Russia and Iran agreed to continue cooperation. Tehran intends to build new capabilities with Rosatom.
The World Atomic Week International Conference, dedicated to nuclear and its surroundings and is held in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Russian nuclear area, is held on September 25-28.
Representatives of nuclear power plants, government agencies, large companies, non-governmental organizations, professional atomagers, scientists and businessmen are taking part in the conference.
