It is planned to introduce a digital system for concluding labor contracts in Armenia

The NA session discussed the project on making amendments to the RA Labor Code and the Law "On Audiovisual Media", which envisages introducing a digital system for concluding labor contracts in Armenia. As a result, employment contracts will be uniform and competently drawn up, accessible to both the employee and the employer.

According to Ruben Sargsyan, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, the introduction of the new system will allow to increase the level of protection of labor rights in Armenia, to reduce document circulation. It is planned that the system will be designed and programmed by the State Revenue Committee. We learn from the National Assembly website that the executive plans to implement the system in two phases: voluntary and mandatory.

The volunteer will be deployed from July 1, 2025 and will last until January 1, 2026. after that it will be mandatory for everyone. "SRC, the Inspection Authority and the Migration Service will have access to this system," said the reporter. Corresponding reporter, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs Heriknaz Tigranyan noted that the initiative is an attempt to make the process of signing labor contracts easier, as well as an opportunity is given to the employer and the employee to sign the contract agreed between them on the electronic platform.
