At around 10:00, the National Center for 9-11 Crisis Management of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RA received an alert that a shelter was on fire near the livestock barn in the area called "Tnkarans" of Vagharshapat city, reports Shamshyan.com.
2 combat units from the Vagharshapat fire-rescue squad of the rescue service, led by commander Vahan Mkrtchyan, arrived promptly. The firefighters first prevented the spread of the fire, and then extinguished it.
According to preliminary information, fortunately, there were no casualties. It turned out that the fire broke out in the wooden shed near Ashot Avagyan's cattle shed. According to A. Avagyan, the cause of the fire may have been caused by power lines.
