The Greek Ministry of Justice has suspended the process of the extradition of former Moldovan Democratic party leader and businessman Vladimir Plauniology, the General Prosecutor's Office of Moldova stated this on his Facebook page.
The agency noted that after the arrest of Planoghiyuk in Greece, the Moldovan Party has taken all the necessary measures, as provided for in international treaties, to extradite him to Moldova. The Greek authorities have confirmed Moldova's request and should have sent it to "in the coming days", but later canceled their decision.
"According to the decision of the Greek Ministry of Justice today, the extradition of Vladimir Plannuke Moldova has been suspended without explanation," the statement said.
