Who replaced Michel Ter-Zakaryan?

Jean-Louis Gasse became the new head coach of "Montpellier". The club decided to part with Michel Ter-Zakaryan after the 0-5 loss against "Marseille" in the 8th round of Ligue 1.

"Montpellier" is in the last place in the standings of the French championship with 4 points earned after 8 games. The club announced today the appointment of Jean-Louis Gasse as the head coach.

The 70-year-old French specialist coached "Marseille" in February-June 2024, and announced his retirement at the end of the previous season.

Michel Ter-Zakaryan spent a significant part of his career as a football player in the "Montpellier" team, scoring 15 goals in 233 games.

After finishing his career, he worked as a coach in the third and second teams of the club, and in 2017-2021, 2023-2024 he already worked as the head coach of the main team. During his coaching career, he also led "Nantes", "Clermont", "Reims", "Brest".
