The Government of the Republic of Armenia posted a draft law on the official platform for discussion of E-DRAFT legal acts, according to which the conscript will be 1.5 years after the 2026 conscription, instead of the present, instead of the present.

"Article 1

Article 2. Part of the final

1. This law shall enter into force on July 1, 2026.

2. The operation of Article 1 of this Law does not apply to the servicemen in compulsory military service as of July 1, 2010.

As a substantiation of the mentioned problematic change, the draft law states that it is carried out as a reform planned in the RA Armed Forces.
