As a result of the secret election, Hayk Grigoryan was elected judge of the Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation. This was reported by the official website of the National Assembly.
Narek Babayan, chairman of the counting committee of the eighth convocation of the National Assembly, while presenting the election results, informed that 67 MPs voted in favor of Hayk Grigoryan's candidacy. The other candidates, Hovhannes Avagyan and Nellie Baghdasaryan, did not receive votes in favor.
To remind, Hayk Grigoryan held the position of the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee in 2018-2021.
