Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan plans to increase the issue of Ukrainian settlement during the framework of the UN General Assembly, calling for a summit at the level of leaders, the Turkish diplomatic source told RIA Novosti.
The eightyth session of the UN General Assembly will open on September 9, 2025 and will end on September 8 2026. "Erdogan will touch upon the issue of Ukrainian settlement during the upcoming contacts at the General Assembly, along with the situation in Gaza. In particular, he will announce the importance of holding a leadership summit to reach an agreement on the ceasefire, "said the agency's source.
