Nepal's government has canceled the ban on social networks, which caused unrest

The Nepalese government has led to the ban on social networks after the mass protests in the capital, Kathmandu and other major cities, Times of India reports.

"Nepal Communications and Information Minister Prithavi Subba Gurung said that the government has undone its decision to ban social networks after the emergency of the cabinet," the publication said.

The Minister added that he instructed the state bodies to restore access to the platforms.

At the end of last week, the Nepalese authorities banned the social networks that were not registered in the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies.
