Ap. EU officials to discuss sanctions against Russia on September 8 in Washington

EU officials to hold talks on anti-Russian restrictions in Washington on September 8, according to Associated Press, citing sources.

According to their information, the delegation will head the EU Special Representative for Sanctions David O'Salivan. The meeting will take place at the US Department of Finance, where they will discuss economic pressure tools, including new sanctions.

The office of the State Department, the US Trade Representative and White House officials will take part in the discussion.

Earlier, the head of the European Council Antonio Costa announced the EU team to discuss the US departure plans against Russia. He did not specify when the meeting will take place.
