On August 31, a short time ago, a magnitude 6 earthquake was held in the east of Afghanistan and followed by it.

The disaster spread to Kunar, Lagma and Nangarhar, destroying villages and overloading the healthcare system, which has already weakened due to the long-term conflict, poverty and natural disasters. According to the latest data of the Afghan authorities, the death toll rose to 2205, and the number of wounded was 3640.
