The Japanese government has announced its intention to send troops to Ukraine

Japan is not among the 26 countries that have been obliged to deploy restraint forces in Ukraine after a possible ceasefire and does not discuss the issue of sending self-defense forces.

On Thursday, the meeting of the so-called "volunteers coalition" took place in Paris, in a mixed format, which was chaired by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Kir Starmer and French President Emanuel Mcron.
After the meeting, Makron stated that 26 countries have pledged to deploy restraining forces after the ceasefire in Ukraine.

He also said that the "volunteer coalition" will soon start working on the legal and political aspects of Ukraine's security guarantees.

Journalists asked Hayashi whether Japan had made a similar obligation.
