Putin called on the BRICS countries to intensify cooperation

BRICS participating countries should intensify cooperation in the fields of technology, education, trade, logistics and finance, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.


"To fully realize the potential of our growing economies and take full advantage of the new wave of global economic growth, our countries must intensify cooperation in areas such as technology, education, efficient resource development, trade and logistics, finance and insurance, as well as multiply the volume of investments." - said Putin at the meeting with the extended composition of the BRICS summit.


The BRICS summit in Kazan, attended by representatives of 36 countries and six international organizations, started on October 22.
