The Indian Foreign Ministry considers the Alaska summit a step forward to the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine

The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump took a step forward in the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, said the representative of the Foreign Minister Subramanam, addressing the World Leaders' Forum of Economic Times.

According to the Minister, the Russian leader "spoke about his views on the occasion of August 21 during a meeting in Moscow.

"Obviously, many issues were discussed in Alaska, and there was agreement on some issues. Thus, it was progress in this regard, "he said.
