Media: Israeli airstrikes prevented flight from landing at Beirut airport

A Middle East Airlines plane had to change its landing strip due to Israeli airstrikes near Beirut airport. Al Mayadeen TV channel reported this.
According to him, the sites of the explosions were too close to the main runway of the air harbor, so the plane had to land on a secondary runway. Earlier, the Israeli Air Force carried out strikes on the densely populated suburb of the Lebanese capital Ouzai on the coastal route towards Beirut International Airport.
On September 23, Israel launched Operation Arrows of the North against Hezbollah formations, during which it carried out massive airstrikes against the military targets of the Shiite organization on Lebanese territory. On the night of October 1, the Israeli army announced the start of a ground operation in the border areas of southern Lebanon.
