Nikol Pashinyan visited the Washington Bible Museum


Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on a working visit to the United States visited the Washington Bible Museum.

Accompanied by the General Director of the Museum, accompanied by Aaron Ross, the Museum toured the museum and got acquainted with the presented samples. The museum also presented exhibits of Armenian Christian heritage, as well as the ancient Armenian Bible.

Prime Minister Pashinyan noted that it is impressed by the exhibits presented by the museum and presented the copy of Grigor Narekatsi a medieval Illustration.

It is one of the oldest examples of world-renowned prayer book of Gregory Narekatsi. The original was written in 1173, a famous writer and painter and painter Gregory of Stract, with a high-ranking Armenian Godlord Nerses Lambronatsi. The manuscript is preserved in the Matenadaran as one of the exceptional masterpieces of Armenian written and miniature art.
