The death toll from starvation in the Gaza section has reached 169. In a statement issued on Saturday, the Gaza Health Ministry reported that seven victims were registered in hospitals and malnutrition, as a result of which the total number of deaths reached 169, of which 93 were children.
The statement emphasizes that the humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to escalate, blockade, as well as a severe lack of food and medicine. The local authorities have again called on the international community and humanitarian organizations to intervene again.
It should be reminded that the large-scale Israeli military attack in Gaza began on October 7, 2023. Since March of this year, Israel has completely closed all the checkpoints in the Gaza Strip, blocking the entry of food and medicine.
Earlier, the agency of the United Nations Aid and Works warned that malnutritionally suspended in children under the age of five from March to June.
