Three passengers fell from the bus. criminal proceedings have been initiated in connection with the incident (video)

On October 20, a report was received from the Ararat Department of the RA MIA Police that on the same day, at around 19:20, a "TEMSA BG 124 H" brand was opened during traffic on the bridge of the NQF Banavani in Ararat Marz, under unknown circumstances. the rear door of the bus, as a result of which 3 passengers fell on the road and received physical injuries. This is reported by the Central Committee of the Republic of Armenia.


Regarding the report, criminal proceedings were initiated on the same day in the Vedi investigative department of the Ararat Marz Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee, according to Article 342, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code.


With the participation of the driver, an inspection was carried out at the scene of the incident, at the beginning of the Banavan bridge of the OQF of Ararat Marz.


There were no brake or tire marks at the scene. An examination of the bus revealed no injuries. It was also found that the bus has seats for 36 passengers, and there is a button near the rear door in the cabin, which after being pressed, the bus door closed and opened.


After the examination, the bus was recognized as physical evidence and handed over to the police.


It was checked whether the driver may have consumed alcohol, the latter was found to be sober.


It was found that on October 20, the 6th grade students and their parents, a total of 33 people, went to Noravank, Vayots Dzor Marz, Vayots Dzor Marz, for an excursion by order from the city of Yerevan. On the way back to Yerevan city, around 7:20 p.m., when they reached the starting point of the Banavani bridge, the back door of the bus, which was in progress, was opened under unknown circumstances, as a result of which one of the children fell on the side of the road, the other child, then one of the nearby parents tried to help one after the other, but failed and fell on the road as well.


With their physical injuries, they were first taken to "Ararat Medical Center" CJSC, from where the two minors were taken to two different medical institutions in Yerevan. According to the data received from medical institutions, the condition of the victims is satisfactory.


The investigation is ongoing.
