The delegation of the US Congress will visit Taiwan in August. It will lead the chairman of the Senate Armed Forces Committee Roger Walker (Republican, Mississippi), according to Financial Times (FT), citing sources.
According to the publication, such a trip will take place in "difficult times" and in the conditions when Taiwan has not been able to make a commercial transaction with the United States, and very high customs duties may be set.
