"Miss Universe Armenia" Irina Zakharova will not be able to participate in the "Miss Universe" contest held in Mexico.

This is stated on the Instagram page of Miss Universe Armenia.

"We regret to inform you that the winner of Miss Universe Armenia, Irina Zakharova, will not be able to go to Mexico and participate in the Miss Universe competition. We have come a long way in preparation and everyone was determined to succeed. However, due to family circumstances, Irina made a difficult decision, refusing to participate. We thank everyone for their support and understanding at this difficult time. Irina remains an inspiration to many, and we are sure that many new opportunities await her. Thank you for your understanding", the message states.

The organizers also stated that when they are ready to announce the name of the new representative, they will provide information.

"Miss Universe 2024" will be held in Mexico City on November 16.
