79 out of 171 Zhong Tong buses are already in Yerevan

79 of the newly acquired 171 Zhong Tong buses are already in Yerevan. This was announced by Beglar Kirakosyan, director of "Yerevan Bus" CJSC, today, on October 21, during the regular administrative meeting of the Yerevan Municipality.

Mayor Tigran Atsinyan, in turn, was interested in how much this year's subsidy was.
"From January 1 to June 1, 3 billion 273 million 621 thousand drams, and from January 1 to today 1 billion 806 million drams," answered Kirakosyan.

In response to that, Avinyan noted that the costs of providing public transport in the capital are increasing and will continue to increase with each new vehicle purchased.

He said that Yerevan Municipality allocated 7.5 billion drams of subsidy to "Yerevan Bus" CJSC during this year, and another 2.5 billion drams should be subsidized.
Avinyan added that 171 new buses and 15 new trolleybuses were bought this year.

"They should continue to implement that program," the mayor emphasized.
