The Turkish Foreign Ministry has stated that negotiations between Russia and Ukraine are in a more constructive direction

Türkiye believes that direct talks between Russia and Ukraine are in a centralized direction, Trt Haber reports, citing the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan.

"In general, we are pleased to say that the talks are held in the direction of more constructive and the results," he said, commenting on the results of the third round of talks on Ukraine on July 23.

"Another brick has increased the construction of the general will of the parties in the Russian-Ukrainian talks in Istanbul. Our country, which has been seeking a settlement from the first day of war, will continue its efforts to establish a long peace between Russia and Ukraine, "Fidan said.

The Russian delegation was headed by Russian President Vladimir Medinsky, and the Ukrainian delegation, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Ums.
