On October 14, an emergency happened in Yerevan. Around 4:45 p.m., the Mashtots Police Department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Davitashen Police Department received operational information that a student from one of the Yerevan schools with a gunshot wound sought medical help at one of the Yerevan polyclinics. Police also found that he was injured by a 12th grade student of the same school on October 13 at around 11:30 a.m. after accidentally firing an air rifle in the school's military science classroom.

Documents were drawn up in the Mashtots police department regarding the incident, which were transferred to the investigation department of the Ajapnyak and Davitashen administrative districts of the Yerevan City Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
