The US personnel management office (usopm) reduces one-third of its employees, New York Times reports, citing the agency's director Scott Cooper.

According to the publication, when US President Donald Trump came to the White House, the staff of the department consisted of 3110 people. More than 125 people have been fired since then.

"New Executive Director Scott Cubi told reporters on Monday that he expects the company's workforce to decrease until the end of 2000," the publication reads.
