The number of people deported from Georgia has increased


From January to June 2025, 525 people were deported from Georgia, which is more than the number of deportees last year (363).

This information was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to statistics, in the first quarter of the year, 219 people had to leave the country, and in the second quarter it reached 306.

As for the citizenship of the deportees, in the first six months of the year, Indian citizens deported from Georgia, followed by Iran and China.

The top five of the citizens deported from Georgia in January-June 2025, according to countries.

Iran - 82 deported person,

China - 62 deported person,

Turkey - 55 deported person,

Russia - 33 deported person.
