Israel is developing plans to resume the civil war in Syria and overthrow the Arab Republic of Tsuri Ahmed al-Shara.
The publication notes that Turkish intelligence has previously prevented the assassination attempt on Al-Sharaa.
"Israel wants to unite Syria. It seeks to resume the civil war, its goal is to overthrow Ahmed al-Selvi, "Hurriyet" columnist Abdulkadir Celvin.
In his opinion, Israel is not happy with Turkey's influence of neighboring Syria. "If the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK, which is prohibited by Ankara) forces to be disarmed, Turkey's influence in Syria will increase."
