Today, on October 20, a mysterious incident happened in Kotayk region. At around 11:45, an alert was received from the Police Operational Management Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia to the Kotayk Police Department that they were informed by the "Abovyan" medical center that the duty team of emergency doctors went to the "Van" hotel complex in the city of Abovyan, where they found are a man's body.

According to Shamshyan.com, the police and patrols found the body of 65-year-old Rustam H., a resident of Shirak Marz, lying on the couch of one of the rooms of the said hotel complex.

The information about the incident was transferred from the Kotayk police department to the Abovyan investigative department of the Kotayk regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee, from where the investigative team headed by Tigran Baghyan and Grigor Dallakyan, senior investigators for particularly important cases, arrived.

Due to the fact of the incident, criminal proceedings were initiated in Abovyan's investigation department under the characteristics of "murder" (sudden death).

According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic doctor, no traces of violence were found on the corpse.
