France handed over Senegal to the last military bases in the country

France has left its last two military bases in Senegal, withdrawing its entire military troops from the country after 65 years in Africa, Agence France-Presse reports.

"The last two French military facilities in Senegal were returned to the authorities on Thursday, which marked the end of the permanent presence of the French army in the country and central and West Africa," the media said.
