Ben Affleck "came to his senses" and realized that "marriage with J.Lo is not working"

Ben Affleck has "come to his senses" after marital problems with Jennifer Lopez. "If there was a way to get a divorce based on temporary insanity, he would do it," a source told Page Six. "He feels that the last two years were just a fever dream, and now he has come to his senses and understands that this marriage is simply not working."
In Touch previously reported that Ben and Jen were planning to divorce and that the actor had left their home after two years of marriage. Neither Jen nor Ben have officially commented on their relationship status. Most recently, they were seen together at JLo's daughter Emma's school event.
Although the couple was spotted having dinner together that evening, just a day earlier, a source told In Touch that Jennifer was looking for PR to "work through her divorce." The source also noted that the application for judicial separation is "close".
Fans first noticed that all was not well in the couple's relationship when Jennifer appeared on the red carpet at the 2024 Met Gala without her husband. "Ben's absence from the Met Gala raised more questions than they would have liked," the insider said.
