American billionaire and entrepreneur Elon Musk said at Donald Trump's pre-election event that if Democratic Party presidential candidate Kamala Harris wins the upcoming elections, the country will face serious tightening of censorship.

Musk suggested that the United States would face "serious censorship if Kamala's regime takes over." According to him, "great efforts are being made" to establish censorship under the pretext of fighting disinformation.

The 60th US presidential election is scheduled for November 5, 2024. The incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris is running for this position from the Democratic Party. Trump was officially announced as the Republican presidential nominee on July 15 at the party's 43rd National Convention.
