Whitcoff. USA-Iran talks may take place next week

The United States and Iran will probably hold talks next week, the US President's Special Ambassador Stevenukoff said on Monday.

"This meeting will take place very soon. It is possible next week, "he said during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House. In his turn, US President Donald Trump said that Iran "asked for a meeting", that if the talks be able to "put something on paper, it would be good."

According to the American leader, he does not see much sense in the talks with the Islamic Republic, as the United States has destroyed its nuclear program.

"When this was the strokes of Iran's nuclear facilities, I asked what was the meaning of discussions. I think they have respect for us and Israel. They want to meet and we will meet, "Trump added.
