The Iranian ambassador to the United Nations has stated that Tehran will not stop enriching uranium

Tehran will never renounce uranium enrichment for its peaceful nuclear program, said Iranian Ambassador to the United Nations Amir Said Iraq.

He reminded that according to the agreement on non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, Tehran has the right to produce enriched uranium and use it for peaceful purposes.

The fate of Iranian uranium remains a secret, the media reports. The Western authorities and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) do not have accurate data on both the United States and Israel's airstrikes.

According to the public assessment of the IAEA, 2025 Before the war, Iran had more than 400 kg of up to 60% enriched uranium. This is 90% close to the level of enrichment suitable for nuclear weapons. According to Reuters, this quantity is enough to create 9 atomic bombs.

Earlier, the Iranian authorities announced that they were evacuated before the US strikes. European intelligence services have informed this. Rafael Gross, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, also did not rule out this.

However, Washington does not agree that Iran has managed to bring enriched uranium from nuclear facilities. President Donald Trump and the head of the Pentagon Pit Hegs have ruled out that opportunity.
