Vahan Telbyan, a talented and recognized Egyptian-Armenian artist, died in Egypt at the age of 61. Mainly known as a sculptor, Telbyan had his own place in modern Egyptian art. In addition to sculptures and painting posters, he was also skilled in the arena of art presentation (Installation).
Vahan Telbyan was born and raised in Cairo, received professional education, had many exhibitions. The Egyptian press considered him one of the country's leading artists. He was also one of the best students of the late artist Shant Avetisyan.
