Spokesman for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, answering the question of the third round of talks between Russia and Ukraine, said that the clarification on this issue will be received in the near future.
"We are waiting for such clarity to be in the near future," Peskov told reporters.
The second round of talks between Russia and Ukraine took place on June 2 in Turkey. The meeting lasted more than an hour in the Istanbul Chiragan Palace. The parties exchanged monuments on the settlement of the conflict.
According to the head of the Russian delegation Vladimir Medinsky, Russia and Ukraine have agreed on the large-scale exchange of prisoners. In addition, the parties discussed the ceasefire in certain areas so that the bodies of the victims could be collected.
According to Medinsky, the Ukrainian side started working on this proposal, but literally two hours later Vladimir Zelyansky publicly refused the alleged agreement. Medinsky stressed that the Russian Federation has fulfilled its promises in Istanbul.
